TouchTecTM is a revolution in gloves & textiles
Our patent-pending nanotechnology is uniquely designed and engineered into the textiles. Through the use of special patented equipment, treatments and processes, gloves which are TouchTec enabled can be designed to work throughout the entire glove, not limiting the wearer to what part of their hand or which finger they want to use to navigate a touch screen. Many types of textiles can TouchTec enabled, including woven and knit fabrics and leather. The current glove styles engineered with TouchTec work flawlessly with all types of touch screens. How TouchScreens Work
Most older style touch screens use resistive technology and work by pressing into the screen, similar to pressing a key on a keyboard. Many of the new touch screens for mobile devices, kiosks, ATM machines, etc. are now using a new type of screen. This new touch screen technology is far superior in many ways, as it is more durable, lasts longer and offers the ability to recognize multiple touches. Anyone who has ever used an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch immediately recognized how fantastic these new "gesturing" features are, allowing the user to quickly scroll, expand, contract, and more. The only downside to this technology is it needs to come in contact with skin to work. These screens, contrary to popular belief, do not detect heat. They actually detect the touch of the skin and sync with it at that point.
